I've been going to Regina Pizzeria for 64 years. I hadn't been back for over 15 years until today when I went to the original location at 11 ½ Thacher St. and I've got to tell you, the pizza is a pale shadow of what it once was. The dough seems to have changed, the pizzas are thicker than they were and, above all, they now pile far too much cheese on them. It was a totally different experience back in the day. I mourn the loss of what was once the very best.
